Tim and Karen Seppi met, fell in love, and got married at a vineyard on the southern point of Kent Island. Karen had been the estate manager at a beautiful waterfront home and Tim had been making wine for himself for 8 years at the time.
He met with the owners of the property which had a defunct vineyard to revive the vineyard, in-turn he could harvest the grapes and make his own wine. The owners asked Karen to meet with Tim to make sure he had what he needed to get the vineyard going. Karen who loved to drink wine and always wanted to know more about it began walking out to the vineyard whenever Tim was there to ask questions. Tim needed help reviving the vineyard and Karen was just the girl to help. Together they planted, grew grapes and made wine which turned out wonderful. Soon it was clear that love was in the air.
As their relationship and the vineyard grew they bought land on the northern end of the island called Love Point. Hence the name Love Point Vineyards and Winery. The first vines were planted in 2014 and were able to open the tasting room in 2022.
Tim now has over 18 years of vineyard experience and wine making. TIm has shared his knowledge of the vineyard with Karen in addition to her role managing the tasting room. Together, they are excited and proud to offer their wine to the public. They have won several awards for their different varietals of wine. As they like to say “There’s love in every bottle!”’.
